Company incorporation

Incorporated as a private limited company in 1976.

Appointed as Glaxo’s sole distributor

Blockbuster drug Zantac launched in Mauritius in 1982. 1950’s. Dawoopersad Seegobin PhC FPS Dawoopersad received one of the highest distinctions in the field of Pharmacy by becoming a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society.

A qualified pharmacist, he played a most prominent role in the development of the wholesale business.

Manufacturing of injections

1939-1945. Dawoopersad Seegobin was manufacturing Quinine Injections for the treatment of Malaria and intravenous Dextrose and Sodium Chloride solutions during the Second World War.
